Greetings to all our wonderful DJs. Let me start off by saying that you are doing a wonderful job here at CVTF Radio. Here's to the continuation of a job well done.
As with any organisation, there have to be a few ground rules, so that everyone can know where they stand.
The station is about promoting conscious and uplifting messages and frequencies to the listening public. It is not a religious organisation, nor a political one. It is a humanitarian organisation. With that in mind, there are a few stipulations that we would like adhered to when playing through our airwaves.
1. No R. Kelly. EVER... It is a removable offence. 2. No Jay-Z or other negative hip hop (c)rap artists who do not uplift our people. 3. No negative dancehall or bashment music. Unless it's positive, party or upliftment, Elephant Man and the like CAN'T WORK on this station. 4. No negative, destructive vibrations - period. 5. Profanity (on record, not by DJs) is allowed, but please remember to keep it in context. No cussing for cussing's sake. Remember, we will have young minds listening to your messages. 6. No post -Thriller Michael Jackson tracks. In other words, nothing after Thriller.
This is all for now. These rulings are not set in concrete and may be added to or changed over the coming period.
